In today's post I am looking back at my oh so original Halloween costume. Now before you judge, in all fairness to me I am a student so couldn't exactly afford £40 on a Harley Quinn outfit- I really wanted it like reaaaally wanted it but no it couldn't be done so I chose to be a cat ok! It cost me next to nothing, the only thing I bought was the cat ears and lipstick so I can't complain really.
I thought that black lipstick was just gonna look ridiculous on me so I wanted to find a dark purple, now you'd think that would be easy, Barry M do a huge range of colours and so do lots of other brands but no it was far from easy because every shade that looked purple actually came out pink- very annoying! but eventually I found this one, it goes on so well, it's a little smudgy but it doesn't give you that clown look I was telling you about last week it just comes of when you drink or eat which is pretty norm for lipstick that don't have 24hr stuff in them :) I did my eye in a smokey eye style, using a palette I bought a while ago, it is more of a purple/very dark blue smokey palette so it went perfectly with the purple lipstick and lastly I added big false lashes to finish the look off!
On to what I was actually wearing, from the top, bottoms and shoes it was all stolen from my lovely sister (if you are reading this- life saver.) she had purchased these a while a go as she is a big fan of crop tops and had been looking for velvet leggings for a while! The shoes she actually bought for a party but was nice enough to let me wear them so she hasn't actually worn them yet... Ooopsy
Well all together I'd say for pretty much no cost, I did cat quite well no?
