New Year Resolutions?

You know what gets me about New Year? The whole idea of New Year Resolutions. People try and change the way they treat people, maybe the way they dress or look but I really don't understand it, I think it's silly. Maybe it's because I have never stuck to mine in the past but does anyone really? Ever? I don't see how that just because it's a new year, you're gonna be more determined than any other day of the year. I see it like this- if you really want to change something you would have already done it and that a new year doesn't change a thing, if you haven't already when you wanted too then you most likely won't achieve it. Very blunt! I'm sorry hehe.

On a less serious note, I hope you are all (just about) over those dreaded hangovers now; Quick tip- Tea and Toast! My perfect cure. 

I thought I'd share with you all what I wore for my New Years. After missing out last year because of blooming tonsillitis, I was really looking forward to this year. I went to a friends house party this year which I officially agree is the only way you can spend New Year's Eve, and oh how I was happy not to be in a club with a bunch of people I don't even know. 

I bagged this outfit a little last minute in the Topshop sale - the skirt that is, you can't really see in my awful photo but the skirt was PVC. I was a bit unsure on these when they first came on the scene but they are actually a great item to own because they go with so much. The top is well worn, cheap as chip number from Primark which I've worn for a few birthday nights out now. I love the colour and thinks it suits dark haired girls really well :) my heels, my gorgeous gorgeous heels are from New Look. I'm a big fan of New Look heels, they are always so comfortable and last ages! They are different to the really dainty heels that everybody is wearing recently, I love the rock and roll look they give to outfits. Lastly my coat/jacket, I have one thing to say I FINALLY OWN A BLACK COAT. Oh and it's from River Island!
