5 days, free of rain and clouds. The benefit of having family aboard, I got to travel to Malta for a family wedding last week. We had a couple of days free before the wedding so my dad took us around some of the sites. We first hit Valetta, full of gorgeous food and shops. The perfect place to spend the day, we took a walk around the Barrack Gardens, ate pizza in the square and walked around the town while getting mint ice-cream in my hair. Oh, I also got a henna tattoo! A hanger - very random I know but let me explain why; I am a blogger and a fashion student so a hanger is a symbol of my passion, CLOTHES. I wanted to do a test run before I go and get the real thing this week.

The next day we visited 'The Silent City' after a very long bus journey, we arrived at this tranquil old maltese village. Full of cute little cafe's and beautiful views. That evening, we walked along the seafront for dinner and on the way, saw the best views Malta had to offer and I think I might have discovered the best carbonara in the land too!

The day before the wedding we visted Malta's' Blue Grottos. The clearest water I have ever set my eyes on, literally, I cannot explain how beautiful this water was. I am not the keenest person on boats, considering how much I love the ocean and fish, I am terrified of big boats but put me on a paddle boat in the middle of the sea and for some unknown reason it's like the world has disappeared for a second. The blue grotto's are a collection of beautiful caves on the outskirts of Malta, full of crystal white sands and clear blue water and definitely worth the trek to see, at only 8 euros per adult, it's the perfect cheap tourist day out.

SUMMER TRAVELS

Find this look here...

Anyone would think it's 30 degrees out...In my defence it has definitely got warmer AND I've got a trip to Malta coming up as well as Morocco with my Fashionistas after Graduation. So I am very very excited for the warm weather. I've started thinking about some outfits because I need to travel light for both trips, mainly because I'm travelling with 3 other fashion enthusiasts and we might just need the whole plane at this rate.

I'm obsessed with crisp white pieces at the moment, they make you look that little bit more tanned and look so nice when the sun is shining (unless it's gone see-through and then well your buggered, embrace it). I am also loving that chambray blue, I've seen quite few pieces in H&M which are so needed! But the best thing about these colourless colours is that you can literally be as creative as you like with either your make up or your accessories and I choose both! A bright pink is literally going to be my go to shade this Summer, it gives you such a nice glow and goes with everything. I've pieced this look with my Toyshop pin stud sandals and a big chunky necklace to give the look some character.

TOPSHOP FROM HEAD TO TOE

TS Skirt | TS Top | TS Sandals (similar) | ASOS Sunnies (similar)

This is my FAV summer look to date; I literally can't wait to go on holiday just so I can wear it! Super easy and cute look for a day exploring Malta, if you haven't seen my 'Summer Travel' I talk all about my Summer vacations coming up and what I'll be wearing so check it out here.

I've had this skirt since January but struggled (oddly) to piece something with it that I liked and how I didn't think of a simple stripe top I don't know, maybe I'm off my game? Stripes go with everything and also look so good pieced with a bold, statement colour so it's the perfect addition to this outfit. I then added some bright pink lippy, sunnies and some tan sandals to finish off the look, black sandals would look just as good but I'm still on the hunt for a perfect gladiator style pair, if you have any suggestions send me the links in the comments below!

LOVIN' ASOS

ASOS Trousers (similar) | Topshop Duster (alternative) | Topshop Crop Top (similar) | Next Sandals (similar)

I've had these trousers since last summer and I still can't get enough of them when the sun comes out. They are the perfect holiday trousers and never seem to go out of fashion, now that pinstripes are these seasons must have, these are a great addition to any wardrobe. I've styled this with a white crop from Topshop that I've had for centuries but I've linked a similar one above! A white crop top is an essential for summer because it's so easy to put on with a patterned bottom like a skirt or shorts. Piece with white sandals and a navy duster incase it does get chilly, we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be.

How do you style your ASOS buys?

With Summer literally just around the corner, I can see it JUST, it's time to throw the fur coats to the back of the wardrobe and bring forward last years Summer finds because it looks like most of the are hear to stay this year! I got this last year in Topshop and they've bought it back in, in a top, not only that but off the shoulder is everywhere this season so grab yourself some pieces because they'll make the perfect addition to your Summer wardrobe.
