Hi guys, I haven't had much luck with outfit inspiration so I thought I'd show you the steps I took to making my awfully faded jeans, black again! I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before, re-dying my jeans so simple and means my rather expensive jeans don't have to be thrown out. Perfect solution.
Step 1 Buy Yourself DYLON Wash & Dye Velvet Black
This is the easiest dye to purchase because it doesn't need salt, it just goes straight into the washing machine so there isn't any faffing about.
Step 2 Check the small print
Make sure that you read the instructions on the back as there are some materials that can't be dyed with this. My jeans are Topshop Leigh Jeans, these are OK.
Step 3 Prepare your jeans
It's better to have not just washed your jeans as they still have the 'stuff' they were washed in etc.
Step 4 Pre-Set your washing machine
Set your machine to 40.C cotton cycle without pre-wash or economy settings
Step 5 Follow the instructions as shown on the back of the packet and hopefully you should come out with this!
