Models Own @ Clothes Show Live

I don't know about you guys but I've had a fab weekend, spent at the clothes show- can't go wrong! I wanted to share with you one of the many things I bought on the day and give you a quick review about them.

 

At Clothes Show the Models Own stall is literally to die for, they have such a great collection of their nail varnishes and other bits like their artistix sticks and loads more! They also had a offer you could not refuse. 'PICK 3 NAIL VARNISHES AND GET A GOODIE BAG WITH £65 FOR £10 ONLY!' now I don't know about you but there is no way I could just walk away from an offer like that right? So I picked 3 lovely winter nail varnishes and bagged myself a goodie bag. Baring in mind I'd been there less than an hour- I did well. Here are the 3 I picked and the 1 free one you got with the Clothes Show Live goodie bag.

 

 

Now for me to actually get to the point of this post, the reviews.

1. Sardonyx
This nail varnish is amazing, not only does it have a velvet top (so on trend!) it is also so glittery. I had only put two coats on of this one and you wouldn't need anymore. When it dries it has the affect of velvet, sort of like a matte effect but with a bit of sparkle. Perfect for Christmas time or a gift.

2. Show Stopper
This one was the one I got free with the £65 worth of goodies, it was the official nail varnish for Clothes Show Live 2014. It looks great when it's finished but it take a lot of coats and you sort of have to dab on the bits of glitter to get it to look like mine above!

3. Mermaid Tears
This is a lot like the Show Stopper nail varnish, it takes a lot of coats and again more dabbing to get the bits of foil onto your nails but when it's done it does look amazing and reflects so nicely under lights.

4. In The Navy
Finally, this nail varnish is perfect for the winter blues (ironic). It looks black in the bottle but comes out navy as you can see from the image. It only took 2 coats like any normal nail varnish and like all models own nail varnishes, dries so quick. It has a slight glitter shimmer but barely visible until it hits light. I think it would look great with a black LBD for Christmas.
